THE KOCH-TECHNIK DRY AIR TECHNOLOGY
Our dry air dryers dry medium to very large quantities of plastic granulate with deeply dry air to the residual moisture required for processing.
The dry air technology used works in a closed circuit system, completely independent of the ambient climate: Deeply dry, heated air flows through the granulate, absorbs its moisture and releases this in turn to a desiccant.
FASTI KOCH COMPRESSED AIR TECHNOLOGY
Drying hygroscopic granulates with compressed air is the most economical alternative to other drying systems for small throughput quantities.
The special ERD compressed air technology from FASTI KOCH guarantees excellent drying results with low operating costs.

The ERD Micro+ was specially developed for
micro injection molding or mini extruders:
- Proven ERD compressed air technology
- Very compact design
- Drying hopper (material container) made of special glass
- Container sizes: 1/2, 1, 2, 3 liters
- Control adapted to the respective container size
- Low maintenance and energy requirements
- Ideal for all plastics, including plastics up to 160 °C
- Dew point down to -65°C if required
- Simple installation (plug & play)
- Installation as top-mounted dryer on all standard machines
- AirJet conveyor optional
- Extensive system accessories
Our most compact pellet dryer with ERD compressed air technology
ERD technology also guarantees perfect drying results and very low operating costs with our ERD Micro+.
Pre-dried compressed air (6-10 bar) is expanded to atmospheric pressure. This produces dry process air with a very low dew point. Heated, it is fed into the glass drying container, flows through the granulate and thus removes the moisture.

Very simple dryer control:
- Drying time monitoring
- Integrated weekly switching program
- Material database
- Power and air volume control adapted to the material flow
- Control for conveying/emptying
- Dew point display with dew point sensor as an option
- Optional interfaces: USB, Ethernet
