Injection molding

In plastic injection molding, molten plastic is injected into the shaping cavity of a tool, compressed under pressure, cross-linked or cooled and ejected as a molded part.
Injection molding is the most widely used process for the highly automated production of plastic parts by processing powder or granulate. Complex shaped parts of almost any size can be produced. High precision and short cycle times predestine the process for economical series production.
